For the past 36 years the Lakes Region Board of REALTORS® has held a Scholarship Golf Tournament to raise funds to award scholarships to our deserving area high school seniors. The event has become a traditional celebration with golf, auctions, raffles and games enjoyed by all participants. Our 2024 tournament was our most successful ever, with generous donations from members, affiliates, and countless area businesses. The funds raised from this extremely popular event allowed our Board to award 24 college scholarships in 2024!

The Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation was founded in 1956 by a small group of civic leaders looking for a way to support their community. Their mission has always been to promote and encourage scholarships and opportunities for higher education among residents of the Lakes Region. Their original scholarships awarded a total of $2,650 to 17 students. In 2024, $811,600 was awarded to 343 recipients.
